Changes that can be made to my study program

Hello. How are they?

Today I come to give you my point of view about the study program of my career and the changes it may have.

I consider that the curriculum that the journalism career currently has is a bit at a disadvantage with the current times and the various ways that there are to report.

In the curriculum there are many theoretical subjects and not as many practical as the degree warrants, and unfortunately, the few that there are have few hours.

I believe that while the teaching methodology is good and consistent with the training of an ethical and outstanding journalist, they should take into account the use of more technology and focus on teaching more in the digital and virtual content area.

Something that I also consider important to expand is the offer of journalistic electives and basic training. As I have already said, today there is a universe of new content that can be explored to inform in a faster and just as efficient way. For this reason, the university must adapt to these changes and dare to mix journalism with other studies.

Writing for digital media, more experience in front of the camera or greater specialization in computerized programs, are some ideas for changes.

I hope that these suggestions are taken into consideration, since the demand of the big journalistic companies is doomed in professionals who mix their talent and passion with new ways of working.
