English language challenges

My experience learning English at the university has not been very good. It has not been a bad experience for the teachers, but it is more than anything the modality in which it is carried out.

Since I was little, English has always cost me a lot and I was ashamed in front of people who had more knowledge of the language. However, in college that has changed because no one makes fun of classmates and we are all practically at the same level of learning.

Although I confess that I would have preferred to study English in person, the online mode still allows me to be protected behind a camera in case of making a mistake.

I find the blogs that the teacher has asked us to do as a very good idea since, in addition to practicing our writing, they also make us write about topics that we will already know how to approach if we are asked to speak in English.

To improve my English I watch series with subtitles and I try to translate songs in my mind. Sometimes I find it very difficult to learn something that no one around you practices, but you have to make an effort.

I hope that in the future all children have access to good English from early childhood so that when they are older they are not disadvantaged.
